As a designer, I can assure you that typography as art will never go out of style. Statement and slogan t-shirts have been popular for as long as I can remember. From quirky, cute or profane statements, to geeky wordplay or political messages, these bold t-shirts and sweatshirts definitely scream attention-seeking youth.

You can wear something emblazoned with a cause or a subculture with which you identify (or not), or a bold fashion brand show-off like BALMAIN or KENZO, or or or…it can be completely blunt and to the point like F*CK. As long as it comes from the heart, the possibilities are endless. Let the t-shirt do the talking.

I wore a dorky tee by Topshop (and I love this one by Moschino) styled with a midi skirt also from Topshop (similar here and here), Adiddas Stan Smith sneakers, XXI Bomber Jacket and an Alexander Wang backpack (similar here).
